Founded in 2002 as Pumps & Ancillaries, Pumps & Gearboxes Ltd has grown to become one of the UK’s leading pump distributors, supplying pumps, gearboxes, motors and ancillary equipment to a range of different industries.

Pumps & Gearboxes’ focus on customer service and reliability has seen large growth in end user business, specialising in the specification, supply and repair of equipment.

The company moved into new 14,000²ft premises in 2022 providing a larger repair and assembly centre, a comprehensive range of stock as well as training and conference facilities.

Over time, Pumps & Gearboxes has developed close relationships with a large portfolio of major manufacturers, which means that the most suitable product is supplied for the application, with specialisation in centrifugal, PD, and chemical process pumps in addition to gearboxes, geared motors and inverter drives.

Supported industries include; Chemical & Pharmaceutical, Water & Wastewater, Food & Beverage, Building Services, Facilities Management, Manufacturing, Paper, Print and Packaging and Oil & Gas.
