Megator Ltd.

Megator was founded in 1946 by F.W.McCombie in order to develop and market his own invention, the sliding shoe positive displacement pump. The company quickly became well established at home (UK) and through a network of agents, exporting too many countries overseas.

Megator today has built a global reputation for manufacturing innovative and unique positive displacement pumps and pollution control solutions for some of the harshest environments. The performance, quality and reliability of our products in General Industry, Marine, Mining and Pollution Control applications continually exceeds our customer’s expectations.

Our pumps and systems are used in thousands of demanding locations, including on merchant fleets and in navies such the U.S. Navy and the British Royal Navy.

Pumps 2000 Europe was established in 2016 to market Pumps 2000 products and solutions throughout Western Europe. Today, our pumps continue to be used in coal and hard-rock mining throughout Europe, as well as in General Industry, Marine, Building & Construction, Food Processing, Chemicals and Pollution Control applications.

From the very beginning Megator’s design and manufacturing was driven by a quality system and in 1994 Megator had their quality systems recognised by Bureau Vertitas. This led to Megator achieving certification in both BSEN ISO 9002 and ANSI/ASQC Q9002. Megator have maintained this high level of quality and now hold ISO 9001:2015 certification.

In 2019 as part of their ongoing commitment to sustainability and the environment, Megator Limited proudly achieved ISO 14001:2015 certification.
