Paul Naylon - Former Managing Director of Mono Pumps
It is with a sad heart that we have to advise the passing of Paul Naylon, former Managing Director of NOV Mono.
Following a relatively short illness, Paul passed away peacefully at home early in October with his family around him.
Paul was active on BPMA Council for many years and always contributed to discussions that would benefit the industry.
BPMA CEO Steve Schofield recalls
"I met up with Paul a few times in 2017 following his retirement, at that time he was trying to pull together a project for pumps in Africa these were pumps that had been donated by charities but were no longer working. The project would involve various charities, BPMA members and the UK Government. This was all charitable work that Paul had undertaken for the good of others and it showed the great character that he was.
Paul began his career with Mono Pumps as a Customer Service Manager in 1987 and over the years he progressed through a variety of roles, becoming Group Managing Director in 1998.
In July 2013, after 26 years of devoted service, Paul retired from NOV Mono to take up new challenges outside of the pump industry.
He went on to create Naylon Associates, helping business owners understand their constraints to growth.
In 2017, Naylon Associates merged with Harvey Global consolidating the complementary skills of Employee Engagement, Leadership coaching, executive mentoring and business growth consultancy.
Paul leaves behind his devoted partner Molly, his beloved daughters Jayne, Nichola and Claire and his two cherished grandchildren, Reece and Scarlett.
