BPMA Golf Day 2020 Results
In a year that has seen so many events cancelled worldwide, it was touch and go this year as to whether the BPMA Annual Golf day could go ahead.
Originally scheduled for 16 May, a new date of 10 September was arranged when May became impossible due to the strict COVID-19 Guideline restrictions.
Now in its 20th Year, this event has been a fixture in the BPMA calendar managing to attract keen golfers and novices alike, the golf day provides customers with an opportunity to reward the efforts of hard-working staff, and to provide customers and clients with a chance to network and socialise in a relaxed professional environment at a premier golf venue.
This years event was held at Belton Woods in Grantham, the weather was glorious golfing weather and the challenging Lakes course was in immaculate condition.
BPMA CEO Steve Schofield said " it was pleasing to see that even in a pandemic BPMA members were still keen to support this event fielding 47 players and 12 teams"
As usual, the event produced some good golf and some not quite so good golf, along with an opportunity for colleagues to safely meet up away from laptops and PC screens.
The golf was followed in the evening by an excellent 3-course dinner and the prize giving (results below)
Steve Schofield thanked the sponsors for their support, without which the event could not be the event it is, before announcing the results of this year's competition.
This was then followed by a brief video of action and mishaps from the day captured again this year by Ashman Media.
A full video of the event from Ashman Media will be available to view on the BPMA website shortly.
