CE Marking Training Course.
This course is planned to be held at the BPMA offices in West Bromwich or, dependant on the UK Government guidelines at the time, maybe held as a Webex through Microsoft Teams
CE Marking & You on the 20th October has now been rescheduled for the 10th November and will include information on the UKCA Mark, incorporating the latest updated information from UK negotiations with the EU to be held on 15th October and will cover any fallout from a possible No Deal Exit.
This course seeks to provide you with the information and skills to understand Self Cert UKCA (placing manufactured goods on the market in Great Britain from 1st January 2012) or CE Marking Essentials (if selling goods into Europe) and enable you to comply with a range of Directives and Regulations, along with covering other product legislation.
Businesses are encouraged to be ready for full implementation of the new UKCA regime as soon as possible after 1st January 2021.
Non-compliant pumping equipment from set builders remains a major problem in the UK market where CE or the new UKCA marking is compulsory. The British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA) are keen to ensure that all assembled equipment, with pumps associated within the build, are placed on the market and put into service correctly in the UK.
All companies that build pumping equipment, such as booster sets, pressurisation units, rainwater harvesting tanks, sewage stations or bespoke equipment and place goods onto the market or put them into service in the UK or to the European market must be able to demonstrate that the products meet applicable EU requirements and are correctly CE or UKCA marked.
