We are now looking for a Production Manager to join our team in Bristol.

The Role

As a Production Manager, you will lead the manufacturing function of the organisation within budget and output targets to meet customer requirements and standards.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for plant production including foundry, financial performance, meeting customer requirements and maintaining the
productive operation of planned activities, ensuring all safety, customer quality, cost and delivery requirements are met.

You will contribute to the strategy of the business and implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principles, whilst being responsible for developing an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible team.

To join us as a Production Manager, you will need:

- Proven man management and leadership experience
- An understanding of Kaizen, lean manufacturing, six sigma
- An understanding of manufacturing and procurement/supply chain
- An understanding of IOSH/NEBOSH, ISO 9001/14001
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ERP systems experience

Relevant manufacturing and/or engineering degree would be preferable for this role, or an HND, BTec Professional Level 5 Award or equivalent NVQ Level 5 qualifications.
