About Us
An established British Manufacturer of chemical resistant centrifugal pumps, who have specialised in this field since 1973. Thanks to excellent growth over the past few years, we are now looking for another Machinist to join the team in the construction of heavy-duty corrosion resistant pumps for the chemical, wastewater and oil and gas industries.

You will be joining our trusted team, to help in the design, development, and manufacture of new improved ranges of chemical resistant centrifugal pumps, focusing on quality, reliability, durability, and energy efficiency.

About the Position
You will be part of the Manufacturing team. The role will include CNC Machining and conventional Milling and Turning, including programming, setting and operating. This is a varied role as we work in small batch work in various materials including plastic and stainless steel for a wide range of components all made in house for our own product range. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in Pump Assembly and Pump Testing.

Full training will be given to develop your expertise in this field with access to the latest technologies and an experienced team to develop your knowledge.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience as a machinist in CNC and conventional turning and milling
Experience of XYZ ProtoTrak SMX Control (an advantage but not essential)
Experience of working with plastics (an advantage but not essential)
In addition, we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, computer literate, with integrity, efficiency, high standards and strong attention to detail. Good communication and being a team player are also essential.
