Regional Sales Manager

The Sales Team is looking to recruit a Regional Sales Manager, ideally with 5 years proven consultative selling and negotiation success in pump/motor related technical products and services, to drive the New Business sales of OEM and non-OEM pumps/motors, along with fabrication, parts, components, service,
engineering, and partner opportunities related to the O&G, petrochemical, power, marine and nuclear markets within the assigned territory and/or account.

The responsibilities of this position, as listed below, will drive success in the marketing, selling, manufacturing, and delivering of our products to the customer on time, with high quality and at a profit while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Main duties and responsibilities:

To manage sales to pump OEMs, EPCs, system integrators, asset owners, NOCs, IOCs and maintenance

To manage the sales cycle, as required, achieving HTL objectives.

To promote value-added to all customers at all stages of the selling cycle.

Expected sales travel will be up to 75% with some weekend travel, on occasions.

To maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments and provide customer and competitor market intelligence.

To Identify and develop unique selling propositions and differentiators through knowledge of the market and competitors.

To develop and provide PowerPoint presentations for customers, conduct factory tours and accompany customers, as necessary to close deals.

To periodically review and improve upon sales materials (literature and website). Assist in training customers and other sales employees when necessary.

To follow established guidelines for tracking sales in the CRM system and utilise the CRM system to effectively manage and drive sales activity. Manage their individual open quote pipeline for accuracy and closure within the CRM system.

To identify and participate in relevant tradeshows/conferences/lunch and learns through exhibiting, presenting, and/or attending.

To submit periodic and yearly territory reports to the Head of Sales to forecast and plan resources and budgets.

The successful candidate will be detail oriented, organised, highly motivated and able to work with little direct supervision. You will be an effective communicator, both in written and verbal formats, with technical or business education supported by technical sales experience.

You will be proactive in reporting and communicating to the team, customer focused and order/business win driven.

International exposure will require cultural and commercial awareness. You will be a budget focused team player capable to work under time focused constraints.
