Position Description:

To lead the Quality and Engineering function of the Serck Audco operation, to ensure our products are delivered to the highest standard of technology and quality as expected from a leading brand. Ensure quality processes are effective across the supply chain whilst maintaining product compliance and driving product development.

Position Requirements:

Own the QMS and Product Quality: Manage the QM/QA/QC activities including Auditing, Problem Solving, NCR, Customer Complaints, Vendor Management, product certification etc. to ensure QMS compliance (PED/ISO 9001/API Q1 etc.) and developing a Quality strategy that prevents Non-Conformities and reduces COPQ.

Ensure Product compliance: Manage Engineering activities such as creation/approval of product designs, ITPs and manufacturing specification/procedures to ensure compliance to standards (API/ASME etc.) and customer specifications

Provide technical support: Help members of the other functions in Problem Solving, Technical analysis, Training and Continuous Improvement to achieve the goals of the operation whist promoting a culture of quality and technological innovation.

Drive R&D: pursue technological advancements and customer approvals as required to maintain our technical leadership and expand our product reach.

Support the Talent Cycle : Manage the Function Staff (currently 8 direct reports + 6 on a dotted line), creating a work environment in which employees are proud to work, providing relevant development opportunities, ensuring that local leadership continuity is intact over time and minimizing retention risk of critical knowledge or personnel.

Be a Leader : Maintain positive employee relations within the facility by acting as a role model inspiring, setting direction and communicating to the site personnel across the functions, cascading goals that seek to align an individual’s efforts to that of the larger operation’s Quality and Engineering objectives, providing feedback and coaching to direct reports and other staff and recognizing the contributions of others to business success.
