BPMA Golf Day 2018
brings out the sun

May 24th saw BPMA hold its annual golf day at the prestigious Wychwood Park Golf Club near Crewe in Cheshire, recommended as a potential venue by Past  BPMA President Peter Reynolds, this truly beautiful course was magnificent, bathed as it was in glorious sunshine on the day.

11 teams took to the course this year to fight it out for the winner’s trophy in a Texas scramble competition that produced some of the lowest team scores seen in recent years. Steve Smith, Operations Manager of BPMA commented “This format is ideal for team play as the pressure of making a great shot every time is removed, a player who duffs a shot or misses a putt has 3 other team mates who can rescue the hole with one shot of brilliance”

This year BPMA enlisted the help of Steve Ashman, who spent the day filming players on and around the course.
Following an excellent dinner guests were able to see a short video produced and edited by Steve showing some of the more memorable and humorous shots from the days event.

Steve Schofield , BPMA Director & Chief Executive then went on to thank all of the sponsors for this year and for their continued support of this annual event, before going on to give out the individual team scores, announce the results and present the trophies to the winners of the BPMA Golf day 2018
